I use a few VPS servers and till a week ago i used fail2ban only. However now i have them both running.
Is it good practice to have both crowdsec and fail2ban on the same server?
Or does crowdsec cover all protections fail2ban offers and can i remove fail2ban?
We cover most things fail2ban does out of the box, however, some people deem us to be too relaxed in our counting. So please compare each jail you have to the similar one we have and if you feel we are missing an application or a scenario. Reach out we are always looking for new suggestions
thanks, i just have the default fail2ban option installed, so i guess crowdsec will cover these.
