Hey everyone,
I have been using CrowdSec for a few weeks now on my self-hosted Ubuntu web server running Nginx and PHP-FPM. The initial setup went smoothly.., and I am already seeing some IPs being blocked.., which is great. However, I am still trying to better understand how to fine-tune it for my specific environment.
Here are a few things I’d love some insight on:
How do you usually customize the bouncers and collections for a basic web server setup: ??
Any recommended way to avoid false positives, especially with legitimate bots like Googlebot: ??
What’s the best way to regularly review and update CrowdSec decisions: ??
I am aiming to improve security without being too aggressive, and I really appreciate any advice from the community. Real-world examples or config tips would be awesome. I have also gone through this thread on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/1ej9z4e/help_implementing_crowdsec_on_a_selfhosted_server_azure_training_in_hyderabad but still need some more help form this community.
Thanks in advance !!
With Regards,
Marcelo
